I received a DOA station at first but Inhale quickly made it right. Wonderful customer service with no issues. Aside from that it's a good almost great heating station for the vapman. The station makes casually vaping much easier and somewhat dummy proof without a torch. The only things I'm not a huge fan of is that it's a bit difficult to seat the vapman in the slots (which makes me worry about scratching off some Mica or the gold plating) to activate it. Finally it would be nice if there was an chime or something audible to let you know when it's ready. It can be easily over heated when you're half way through the sesh. 😅 Those two things are the only reason why I dropped it a star but it's definitely worth it if you want to share with others who aren't familiar with the vapman platform. Or just have something beautiful that makes the vaping process much easier and enjoyable. Thank you inhale for keeping Vapman and the lotus alive and thriving! 🙏

The beginning
The Swiss inventor René had a deep passion for herbal medicine; this passion brought to his attention the, at that time still largely unknown, topic of "vaporizing". He quickly realized the great potential of this principle. From then on, he put his complete dedication into developing a perfect vaporizer, making him a pioneer in this sector.
First ideas
Then, at the turn of the century, his first vaporizer saw the light of the world. It was a tabletop model with a fixed power connection.
The friction vape
René’s first idea for something portable was a muscle powered device, it was already working fine, but he realized that this was not the final solution...
Vapman was born
After years of development, the time had finally come: the first vapman prototype was born. Renè came up with the jet lighter as a heat source and invented the first flame-powered vaporizer. Butane gas has a much higher energy storage capacity than batteries and generates heat much faster than an electric heater, not to forget that a purely mechanical construction is much more durable. This makes the flame the perfect energy source for a vaporizer.
Vapman launches in Switzerland
Some fine-tuning followed, and the vapman was finally ready for market release. At that time it was one of the first portable vaporizers on the market. Especially through word-of-mouth advertising, it soon enjoyed a considerable reputation among vape enthusiasts. René, who himself has become a great lover of his vapman, continuously manufactures all the vapmans by himself.
Heating station
The idea for the heating station came about when a friend of Rene came to him and asked him to modify a soldering iron so that it could safely heat the vapman. As this worked quite well, Rene started the development together with the technical university in Biel. After two years of development, it was finally ready; it was perfect, and all the effort was worth it. However, due to a complicated technical problem, 5% of the first 500 heating stations had an issue that was hard to detect. Because the cause was not found, the station was discontinued.
Takeover & new version
After almost twenty years of real world testing, the vapman has done valiantly and continues to live up to its claims, but René, due to his advanced age, is no longer capable of producing vapmans himself.
Because of our love for vapman, we have teamed up with René to give the vapman a worthy future. We are Michael & David, and with René as our mentor, we have taken the vapman once again under the microscope and improved it with final touches.
Vapman 2.0
We have combined all customer requests with our experience to make this new model flawless. It has a pure stainless steel vapor path with built-in cooling technology. The entire construction has been adapted for increased stability; Pan and filter can be easily removed for easier deep cleaning or replacement, and the built-in mineral heat shields are now inlaid into the wood, resulting in better durability and a cleaner look. In addition, we updated the entire design for a more attractive look.

One word, Fantastic! Granted, I’m a medical user with a high tolerance so my expectation was low… still amazed on effects of such a small amount. The ritual is mindful and meditative… great for a walk outdoors. But hash is where this excels, I used hash as toppers on occasional bowl of flower & have several devices/torch for DABs … but vaping old school hash kinda falls somewhere between… opened another layer of the cannabis world for me to explore…

Fantastic little device
Once you start to get into the groove, it's such an effective and simple little vape.
I've also never had a vape that can extract so much from my flower. I use about 1/4 of the flower with my Vapman that I do with my S&B Mighty, which makes my flower last so much longer.
It seems like I discover something new every time I use my Vapman. It's such a simple device, but you can tell how much hard work and attention to detail has gone into its development. It's a beautiful little device, and I find myself holding it even when I'm not using it - it's a little piece of art.
